Brazilian Percussion Workshop

Sergio Xexeu Gondim

Given the great success of the workshop held in June, and the requests we keep receiving, we convinced Xexeu to give a follow up workshop. After a review of the rhythms of SambaReggae previously covered, Xexeu will concentrate on how to dance and playing at same time.

Xexeu is a renown master percussionist originally from Salvador. He specializes in rhythms from the city of Salvador, in the northeast of Brazil. He has played with Olodum and Timbalada among others.

The clinic is scheduled for Sunday, November 23rd at 3pm. Tickets are $15 cash ONLY, RSVP highly recommended.

In a similar fashion, Marcus Santos will held a followup workshop on Pandeiro on Sunday, December 14th at 12noon.

Stay tuned for more details.
